Committees and Responsibilities
 Finance:
  • Prepare budget for the upcoming year
  • Suggest fund-raising projects
  • Provide for the Club's financial records to be audited at the end of the year.
Organization, Membership and Classifications: (OMC)

 
  • Distribute and collect prospective member forms
  • Send proposed member form to the Board for approval.
  • Prepare club roster
  • Report New Member names / losses of membership to Zonta International
  • Work with Program and Fellowship committees on the Installation Banquet and summer Special event
  • Attendance Committee
 Public Relations / Communcations:
  • Arrange with local media to cover Club events
  • Submit meeting news to The Courier
  • Plan Ways to keep community aware of Zonta, locally and internationally
  • Plan celebration of Zonta Rose Day, March 8
  • Arhives Committee
  • Newsletter Committee
 Status of Women Service:
  • Suggest and supervise Club service projects 
  •  Coordinate awards, Woman of Achievement, Young Woman in Public Affairs, and Jane M. Klausman
 United Nations/Legislative Awareness and Advocacy
  • Provide information concerning the UN and its agencies and the activities of Zonta International in connection with the UN
 

Archives:

 
  • Maintain Club archives and history 
  • Sub-committee of Public Relations /Communications Committee
  •  Attendance Committee Shall record and promote attendance at meetings
  • Sub-committee of OMC
 

Fellowship:
  • Promote fellowship among members 
  • Send cards/flowers to members and/or their families when appropriate
  •  Keep membership informed of illnesses etc. affecting members
  • Work with program and OMC committees on installation banquet in May and summer special event
 

Newsletter:
  •  Publish and distribute the monthly newsletter “Zee News” 
  • Sub-committee of Public Relations Committee
 

Program:
  •  Arrange for speakers at monthly program meetings
  • Coordinate Installation Banquet and Picnic along with OMC and Fellowship Committees
 

Scholarship:
  •  Inform local educational institutions about availability of scholarships
  • Review scholarship applications
  • Select scholarship recipients
  • Coordinate any memorial scholarship awards approved by the Club
  • Review scholarship applicationsSelect scholarship recipients
  • Review scholarship applications
  • Select scholarship recipients
 Z Club  
  • Advises the Z Club and/or Golden Z Club
  • Attends meetings of these clubs
  • Works with club’s school advisors
  • Maintains close contact with the Z Club/Golden Z Club boards
  • Liaison between clubs, our Club and Zonta International
  •  Sub-committee of the Status of Women Service Committee
