Zonta Landing at Riverside Park

Riverside Park's waterfront has a new look and “Zonta Landing,” formerly Riverside Landing, was dedicated on May 18th, 2009.   “Zonta Landing” honors the 50th anniversary of the Zonta Club, which donated $5,000 for the project. Club members landscaped the site. The project was one of several renovations planned to revitalize Riverside Park after the August 2007 flood damaged much of the waterfront.

Zonta Landing is a public boat livery concession that provides rentals of canoes, kayaks and pedal boats. Canoes and kayaks may also be taken, by the renter, to other bodies of water within Hancock County withadvance reservation through the HPD office.
