How to Become a Member
Members
are the mainstays of the Findlay Zonta Club.
Members of
Zonta must be executives or professionals in decision-making positions
of recognized businesses or professions and working at least 50
percent of a normal work week.
Membership
in Zonta is demanding, but the benefits make it all worthwhile.
Zonta
members have the opportunity to meet interesting and involved
professionals who want to help women reach their potential, and to
socialize and network locally, nationally and internationally with
people working in many different fields.
Members
participate actively in committees and meetings, and can accept
leadership roles that promote personal growth and self-confidence in a
friendly, supportive atmosphere.
How to
Join the Zonta Club of Findlay, Ohio
Zonta Club of Findlay
meets at 12 noon on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
The first meeting of the
month is devoted to Club business. At the second meeting, leading area
speakers present programs of interest. Program presentations may be
related to personal and professional growth, community development and
needs, business and economic trends, health, and other current issues.
Members are encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible and are
asked to serve on at least one standing committee. Opportunities to
participate in lively fund-raising, social, and service events are
available throughout the year.
